Posera is looking for a highly accurate and accountable individual to join our Finance team as a Junior Financial Database Analyst who will be responsible for the overall improvement and maintenance of company information and databases. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Analyze financial and operational information and create financial models for business decision making;
  • Maintain and find efficient, reusable processes to pull information from several company databases with financial, operational, and customer information into harmonized reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI;
  • Create bespoke database queries and reports per Senior Managements’ requests;
  • Improve all company databases with financial, operational, and customer information;

ABOUT THE POSITION

In order to sustain its growth Posera is currently seeking an Accounting and Administration Clerk to take ownership of all order processing, sales invoicing, payment processing, accounts receivable collections, reception duties, and other administrative tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Posera’s Finance team has an opening in its Montreal office for an Accounting and Administration Clerk to assist with accounting and administrative functions. The main responsibilities include:

  • Process customer orders in a timely fashion;
  • Manage the licensing systems, including updating the customer information and transaction records, and generating new licenses, etc.;
  • Prepare sales invoices and credit notes;
  • Send monthly account statements to customers and follow up on the AR collections;
  • Respond to all customer inquiries related to pricing, orders, invoices and payments;
  • Process bank deposits and other incoming payments;
  • Process the day end procedure, prepare the daily sales reports and monthly reconciliations;
  • Maintain and update customer and supplier files;

POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

This position will report in to our VP of Sales, who is based out of Posera’s Montreal, Quebec office.

We’re seeking a “Make it Happen” passionate, creative and persuasive sales professional with experience in total solution sales and forming tight dealer and customer partnerships with a focus on Software Solution Sales. The primary objectives of this position are to grow the region’s business via direct and third party/dealer sales channels, drive solution opportunities and continually enhance the breadth and depth of relationships with Posera’s customers and dealers.

lf you have experience creating highly complex software, hardware, and consulting solutions for Hospitality accounts in the restaurant, hotel, and other hospitality sectors, have a history of success developing an opportunity funnel, influencing decisions and selling across multiple offices in both B2B and B2C environments, we want to talk to you.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Communicate and inspire a vision for the business to customers and dealers
  • Responsible for managing Posera direct hospitality accounts and dealer accounts within their defined territory to ensure both high customer satisfaction as well as achievement of the account forecasted and planned budget levels with emphasis on revenues, productivity levels, and unit placements;
  • Develop account specific plans focused on maximizing customer satisfaction on solutions already deployed in the account and to position and introduce the entire portfolio of solutions offered
  • Build and maintain senior-level dealer & customer relationships through consultative selling and promoting customer confidence in Posera
  • Must be able to strike the right balance between building and maintaining high level of customer and dealer satisfaction with existing products and services and identifying ways to expand the business portfolio within the accounts within the assigned territory
  • Coordinate with other parts of Posera’s organization to be able to meet client & dealer commitments
  • Implement a structured and consistent communication framework to ensure the relevant stakeholders have up-to-date visibility into the account status and opportunities to identify and implement corrective actions early in the process
  • Partner with other business units to expand cross-sell opportunities
  • Negotiate multi-year software and services contracts

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities

Within the scope of corporate objectives and policies to accomplish assigned goals, this person is responsible for the following:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to Posera’s English and French-speaking clients;
  • Participate in weekly Rota for Standby Emergency Support (office hours);
  • **Being part of the on-call team on a rotational basis (this includes support outside of office hours)**
  • Ensure guaranteed service times as per customer contract are respected;
  • Travel to site for planned or emergency on-site support jobs;
  • Effectively analyze and resolve issue to customer’s operational satisfaction;
  • Communicate to customer next action if issue is not resolved on site;
  • Complete job sheet/delivery notes and obtain customer signature;
  • Log all relevant information and communication in Heat (ticketing software);
  • Deliver solution to planned and assigned jobs;
  • Gather database build information from relevant source;
  • Provide live support as required;
  • Install equipment on site as required to customer’s specification;
  • Test all equipment and peripherals on site
  • Proceed with all initial Level 1 testing as required using Lab Equipment;
  • Identify up selling and cross-selling opportunities and communicate with Sales Department;
  • Assist on projects as assigned and/or approved by supervisor;
  • Any other related task, as required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Fluent in spoken and written English

  • IT Background in both Software and Hardware;
  • At least two years’ experience supporting external clients on software and hardware applications;
